ACCORDO SERVIZIO BUS SCOLASTICO • BUS SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT

1.0 Objective of the Agreement

The purpose of this Service Level Agreement (SLA) is to describe the bus transport services that Todde Bus provides for St. George's School, the quality standards expected in terms of service delivery and the general conditions of the service.
This Agreement sets out:
• School Transport Services provided;
• Terms and Conditions of the School Transport services;
• Responsibilities of the families and school;
• Contractual Parameters.

2.0 General Bus Service Terms and Conditions

• The request for transportation does not guarantee registration to the bus service; Todde Bus reserves the right to accept/deny any requests with the School's approval.
• THE SCHOOL TRANSPORT SERVICE IS AVAILABLE TO PUPILS IN YEAR 1 AND ABOVE. Pupils in the Dragon Schools are not eligible to utilise the school transport service.
• Todde Bus with the approval of the School, at its complete and sole discretion, defines, and modifies timetables, itineraries and the type of vehicles used, confirms/denies door-to-door services and offers alternate pick-up or drop-off points on all of its routes to meet its organisational needs and to ensure efficiency of service. Prior notice on any change of service will be given by Todde Bus to the pupils’ families.
• The service is organised and is carried out by Todde Bus and/or its representatives with the greatest possible punctuality and attention in consideration of the destinations of the pupils using the service and the available road routes; Todde Bus is, however, exempt from liability for delays/mishaps due to external circumstances (i.e. traffic congestion, road closures, weather conditions, strikes, etc.) that may lead to delays or interruptions to the service;
• Changes of address must be communicated to Todde Bus and the School with advance written notice of at least 30 DAYS, and in such cases the Todde Bus reserves the right to confirm/deny door-to-door service and to offer an alternate pick-up or drop-off point or shuttle bus use. In the event that the alternative pick-up or drop-off point offered is not accepted and cancellation of service is requested, point 3 will apply;
• The journey times are dependent exclusively on the distance of the address, the route and the traffic situation in that specific area, Todde Bus reserves the right to indicate earlier pick-up times and different routes than the previous year in order to ensure a timely arrival to School;
• All of the school buses have a GPS tracking system on board, allowing the monitoring of all buses and student attendance in real-time.
• Buses have video cameras mounted in order to monitor all students on board and ensure safety. Due to privacy laws, the video camera footage may only be viewed by authorised School Staff. • Due to safety, security and insurance reasons, only admitted St George’s pupils may board the school buses;
• Due to safety issues, please be advised that direct communication with bus drivers is not permitted. The phone numbers of the bus drivers will not be provided to parents;
• Kindly note that Bus Routes will not be published for security reasons.

3.0 Contractual Parameters

• Bus Fees are listed in the above section of the School Transport Services Request Form • In case of cancellation of the bus service, a written notice is required. In regards to the bus fees, the following conditions apply:
a. Withdrawal before 30 June 2026: no amount due.
b. Withdrawal from 1 July 2026 through 15 August 2026: penalty fee of €500 due.
c. Withdrawal after 15 August 2026: no reimbursement

4.0 Limitation to the use of the School Transport Service

Any bus/stop change request by bus users may be granted only if:
• the request is made at least 48 working hours in advance (8am-5pm Mon-Fri)
• the bus does not have to deviate from or extend its normal established route
• it is requested only once a week and is not a repeating change
Occasional use of the bus for non-bus users (€ 20 per journey) may be granted only if:
• the request is made at least 48 working hours in advance (8am-5pm Mon-Fri)
• the occasional bus form is completed, signed and returned as requested
• the bus does not have to deviate from or extend its normal established route
• there are seats available on the bus
• it is requested only once a week.

5.0 Responsibility of Todde Bus

• The responsibility of Todde Bus is limited to the period in which pupils are boarded on the the bus and transported from the prearranged pick-up point to the school building and from the latter to the drop-off point. Therefore, Todde Bus will not be held responsible in the event of adverse incidents and/or occurrences for the pupils prior to boarding the bus or after having disembarked. Parents and/or guardians will be solely responsible in the event of accidents that may occur to pupils in the period before boarding the bus or after having disembarked.
• In the event that an adult/guardian is not present at the drop-off point and required by law to be there, the School will use its best endeavours to contact the parents. If this is not possible, the child will remain on the bus and complete the bus route. Parents will have to collect the child at the last stop. If this occurs repeatedly, Todde Bus together with the School reserve the right to cancel further service and no reimbursements will apply.
• For any urgent matters relating to the transport service, Todde Bus will communicate with the parents and/or legal guardians of pupils or family members or designated persons indicated in the bus registration form, using the telephone numbers and emails provided by them through this form and through the Bus Parent App (Bat on Route).
• The Bus Service has a dedicated Bus App (Bat on Route), this App will be used to contact parents with information regarding the late arrival at bus pick-up points in the morning or any other emergency information that must be transmitted immediately to a specific bus.

6.0 Responsibility of Families

• Pupils must arrive at the pick-up point in the morning at least 5 minutes prior to the time indicated by the school, THE BUSES ARE NOT AUTHORISED TO WAIT PAST THE PICK-UP TIME INDICATED. Pupils must be punctual for boarding the bus for the return from school, the buses will depart school no later than 15:45 hours.
• Parents and/or guardians of the Junior School pupils must guarantee that they or a family member or an accompanying adult designated by them, will remain in the company of the pupils until they board the bus and will be present when they get off the bus.
• Damage caused to the bus by students will be charged to parents and/or guardians.
• Any change in phone numbers of parents or guardians of the pupils and/or their designated family
members, must be promptly notified in writing to the school so that the necessary changes to its records may be made;
• In case of illness or absence, the Transport Manager must be notified either via email at bus@stgeorge.school.it, via message to the following dedicated bus service telephone number: +39 335 416591 or through the Bus Parent App in addition to the relevant school office (absence@stgeorge.school.it for the Senior School and justine.girgenti@stgeorge.school.it for the Junior School).
• All communications regarding bus services must include CHILD'S COMPLETE NAME, BUS ROUTE NUMBER and YEAR GROUP to the Transport Manager at the email and telephone number listed above;
• For any end of the day changes to transport use, these must be communicated to the school office (at the emails provided above) no later than 14:00.
• Any impolite or dangerous behaviour by Parents that goes against the St George's Parents' Code of Conduct will allow for the immediate removal of the student/s from the bus service with no refunds issued.
• Notwithstanding the above, the Principal reserves the absolute discretion to immediately remove a pupil from the bus where it is felt that a parent's behaviour is deemed unacceptable.

7.0 Pupil Behaviour

• Pupils are not permitted to use any bus service other than the one agreed with the school at the start of the year. An occasional change of bus route may be authorised, but only as detailed in Point 4.
• For Senior School students please note that the buses are parked on-site therefore it is the responsibility of the student to make his/her own way to the bus on time, the buses will depart on schedule and will not wait for tardy students.
• On-board the bus, both while the vehicle is stationary as well as moving, pupils must wear their seatbelts at all times. Pupils must behave in a polite and orderly manner, and comply with the requests of school staff and/or bus drivers, in order to ensure efficient transport services and guarantee safety.
• On-board the bus, eating and drinking (apart from water) is prohibited.
• Impolite, dangerous behaviour and/or disregard for safety rules by pupils during transport will not be tolerated. It will be immediately reported to teaching staff and parents. In the event of three reports of misbehaviour/pupil disregard for safety, parents/guardians will be informed in writing that the pupil may not continue to use the bus with no refunds issued.
• Notwithstanding the above, the Principal reserves the absolute discretion to immediately remove a pupil from the bus where it is felt that a pupil’s behaviour represents an unacceptable safety risk to other pupils using the bus service.

1.0 Obiettivo dell'Accordo

L'obiettivo del presente Accordo di Servizio di Trasporto Scolastico è quello di descrivere i servizi di trasporto alla Scuola St George con autobus forniti dalla Todde Bus, gli standard di qualità attesi in termini di erogazione del servizio e le condizioni generali del servizio. Il presente accordo stabilisce:
- Servizi di trasporto scolastico forniti;
- Termini e condizioni dei servizi di trasporto scolastico;
- Responsabilità delle famiglie, della scuola e di Todde Bus;
- Parametri contrattuali.

2.0 Termini e condizioni generali del servizio di trasporto scolastico

- La richiesta di trasporto non garantisce l'iscrizione al servizio di autobus; la Todde Bus si riserva il diritto di accettare/negare qualsiasi richiesta con approvazione della Scuola St George.
- IL SERVIZIO DI TRASPORTO SCOLASTICO È DISPONIBILE PER GLI ALUNNI DI Y1 E OLTRE. Gli alunni delle Scuole dei Dragons non possono usufruire del servizio di trasporto scolastico.
- La Todde Bus con approvazione della Scuola St George definisce e modifica gli orari, gli itinerari e il tipo di veicoli utilizzati, conferma/nega i servizi porta a porta e offre punti di raccolta o di consegna alternativi su tutti i percorsi per soddisfare le esigenze degli alunni e per garantire l'efficienza del servizio.
- Il servizio è organizzato e viene svolto dalla Todde Bus e/o dai suoi incaricati con la massima puntualità e attenzione in considerazione delle destinazioni degli alunni che usufruiscono del servizio e dei percorsi stradali disponibili; la Todde Bus e la Scuola St George è comunque esonerata da responsabilità per ritardi/disguidi dovuti a circostanze esterne (es. congestione del traffico, chiusura di strade, condizioni atmosferiche, scioperi, ecc.) che possono comportare ritardi o interruzioni del servizio;
- I cambiamenti di indirizzo devono essere comunicati alla Todde Bus e la Scuola St George con un preavviso scritto di almeno 30 GIORNI; in questi casi la Todde Bus si riserva il diritto di confermare/negare il servizio porta a porta e di offrire un punto di raccolta o di consegna alternativo o l'uso del bus navetta. Nel caso in cui il punto di raccolta o di consegna alternativo offerto non venga accettato e venga richiesta la cancellazione del servizio, si applicherà il punto 3;
- I tempi di percorrenza dipendono esclusivamente dalla distanza dell'indirizzo, dal percorso e dalla situazione del traffico in quella specifica zona; la Todde Bus si riserva il diritto di indicare orari di raccolta anticipati e percorsi diversi rispetto all'anno precedente, al fine di garantire un arrivo tempestivo a Scuola;
- Tutti gli scuolabus sono dotati di un sistema di localizzazione GPS a bordo, che consente di monitorare in tempo reale tutti gli autobus e le presenze degli studenti.
- Gli autobus sono dotati di videocamere per monitorare tutti gli studenti a bordo e garantire la sicurezza. A causa delle leggi sulla privacy, le riprese delle videocamere possono essere visualizzate solo dal personale scolastico autorizzato.
- Per motivi di sicurezza e di assicurazione, solo gli alunni ammessi alla St George's possono salire sugli scuolabus;
- Per motivi di sicurezza, non è consentito comunicare direttamente con gli autisti degli autobus. I numeri di telefono degli autisti non saranno forniti ai genitori;
- Si prega di notare che gli itinerari degli autobus non saranno pubblicati per motivi di sicurezza.

3.0 Parametri contrattuali

- Si prega di notare che gli itinerari degli autobus non saranno pubblicati per motivi di sicurezza.
- Le tariffe degli autobus sono elencate nella sezione precedente del modulo di richiesta dei servizi di trasporto scolastico.
- In caso di cancellazione del servizio di autobus, è richiesta una comunicazione scritta. Per quanto riguarda le tariffe dell'autobus, si applicano le seguenti condizioni:
a. Ritiro entro il 30 giugno 2027: nessun importo dovuto.
b. Recesso dal 1° luglio 2026 al 15 agosto 2027: è prevista una penale di 500 euro.
c. Recesso dopo il 15 agosto 2027: nessun rimborso.

4.0 Limitazioni all'utilizzo del servizio di trasporto scolastico

Qualsiasi richiesta occasionale di cambio di autobus/fermata da parte degli utenti può essere accolta solo se:
- la richiesta viene effettuata con almeno 48 ore lavorative di anticipo (dalle 8.00 alle 17.00 dal lunedì al venerdì)
- il modulo per l'autobus occasionale sia compilato, firmato e restituito come richiesto
- l'autobus non deve deviare o prolungare il suo normale percorso stabilito
- ci sono posti disponibili sull'autobus
- viene richiesto solo una volta alla settimana.

5.0 Responsabilità della Todde Bus

- La responsabilità della Todde Bus si limita al periodo in cui gli alunni vengono fatti salire sull'autobus e trasportati dal punto di raccolta prestabilito all'edificio scolastico e da quest'ultimo al punto di consegna. Pertanto, la Todde Bus non sarà ritenuta responsabile in caso di incidenti e/o eventi negativi per gli alunni prima di salire sull'autobus o dopo essere scesi. I genitori e/o i tutori saranno gli unici responsabili in caso di incidenti che possano accadere agli alunni nel periodo precedente la salita sull'autobus o dopo la discesa.
- Nel caso in cui un adulto/tutore non sia presente al punto di consegna, come previsto dalla legge, la Todde Bus farà il possibile per contattare i genitori. Se ciò non fosse possibile, l’alunno rimarrà sull'autobus e completerà il percorso. I genitori dovranno raccogliere il bambino all'ultima fermata. In caso di ripetizione, la Todde Bus insieme alla Scuola si riservano il diritto di cancellare il servizio e di non effettuare rimborsi.
- Per qualsiasi questione urgente relativa al servizio di trasporto, la Todde Bus comunicherà con i genitori e/o tutori legali degli alunni o con i familiari o le persone designate indicate nel modulo di iscrizione all'autobus, utilizzando i numeri di telefono e le e-mail forniti dagli stessi tramite il presente modulo e tramite l'App Bus Genitore “Bat On Route”.
- Il Servizio Autobus dispone di un'App dedicata all'autobus (Bat on Route), che verrà utilizzata per contattare i genitori con informazioni riguardanti l'arrivo in ritardo ai punti di raccolta dell'autobus al mattino o qualsiasi altra informazione di emergenza che deve essere trasmessa immediatamente a un autobus specifico.

6.0 Responsabilità delle famiglie

- Gli alunni devono presentarsi al punto di raccolta del mattino almeno 5 minuti prima dell'orario indicato dalla scuola, I BUS NON SONO AUTORIZZATI AD ATTENDERE OLTRE L'ORARIO DI RACCOLTA INDICATO. Gli alunni devono essere puntuali nel salire sullo scuolabus per il ritorno da scuola, gli autobus partiranno da scuola non oltre le ore 15:45.
- I genitori e/o i tutori degli alunni della Junior School devono garantire che loro stessi, un familiare o un accompagnatore da loro designato, rimarranno in compagnia degli alunni fino alla loro salita sull'autobus e saranno presenti quando scenderanno dall'autobus.
- I danni causati all'autobus dagli studenti saranno addebitati ai genitori e/o ai tutori.
- Qualsiasi cambiamento dei numeri di telefono dei genitori o dei tutori degli alunni e/o dei loro familiari designati deve essere tempestivamente comunicato ai genitori e/o ai tutori. genitori o tutori degli alunni e/o dei loro familiari designati, deve essere tempestivamente comunicata per iscritto alla Scuola ed a Todde Bus, in modo da poter apportare le necessarie modifiche ai propri registri;
- In caso di malattia o assenza, il responsabile dei trasporti deve essere avvisato via e-mail all'indirizzo bus@stgeorge.school.it, tramite messaggio al seguente numero telefonico dedicato al servizio autobus: +39 335 416591 o attraverso la Bus Parent App (Bat on Route), oltre che all'ufficio scolastico competente (absence@stgeorge.school.it per la Senior School e justine.girgenti@stgeorge.school.it per la Junior School).
- Tutte le comunicazioni relative al servizio di autobus devono includere il NOME COMPLETO DEL BAMBINO, il NUMERO DEL PERCORSO DELL'AUTOBUS e il GRUPPO DELL'ANNO e devono essere inviate al responsabile dei trasporti all'indirizzo e-mail e al numero di telefono sopra indicati;
- Eventuali modifiche all'utilizzo del trasporto a fine giornata devono essere comunicate alla segreteria della scuola (all'indirizzo e-mail indicato sopra) entro e non oltre le ore 14.00.
- Qualsiasi comportamento maleducato o pericoloso da parte dei genitori, che vada contro il Codice di condotta dei genitori, comporterà l'immediato allontanamento dello/gli studente/i dal servizio di autobus, senza alcun rimborso.
- In deroga a quanto sopra, il Preside si riserva l'assoluta discrezione di allontanare immediatamente un alunno dall'autobus qualora si ritenga che il comportamento di un genitore sia inaccettabile.

7.0 Comportamento degli alunni

- Agli alunni non è consentito utilizzare un servizio di autobus diverso da quello concordato all'inizio dell'anno. Può essere autorizzato un occasionale cambio di percorso dell'autobus, ma solo come specificato al punto 4.
- Per gli studenti della scuola superiore si ricorda che gli autobus sono parcheggiati in loco, pertanto è responsabilità dello studente raggiungere l'autobus in orario; gli autobus partiranno in orario e non aspetteranno gli studenti in ritardo.
- A bordo dell'autobus, sia quando il veicolo è fermo sia quando è in movimento, gli alunni devono indossare sempre le cinture di sicurezza. Gli alunni devono comportarsi in modo educato e ordinato e rispettare le richieste del personale scolastico e/o degli autisti, al fine di assicurare un servizio di trasporto efficiente e garantire la sicurezza.
- A bordo dell'autobus è vietato mangiare e bere (a parte l'acqua).
- Non saranno tollerati comportamenti maleducati, pericolosi e/o non rispettosi delle norme di sicurezza da parte degli alunni durante il trasporto. Il comportamento sarà immediatamente
- In deroga a quanto sopra, il Preside si riserva l'assoluta discrezione di allontanare immediatamente un alunno dall'autobus qualora si ritenga che il suo comportamento rappresenti un rischio inaccettabile per la sicurezza degli altri alunni che utilizzano il servizio di autobus.
